Northwest Chiropractic is sponsoring the following local endurance athletes for 2008 competitive season, helping them achieve their performance goals with consistent Chiropractic and rehabilitative treatment.

Larry Clark (Triathlon): Larry is a finisher of over 75 triathlons and 3-time IRONMAN triathlon finisher. He consistently finishes top in his age group and earned a position on USA Triathlon’s National Team for 2008. He has started off the 2008 season with impressive results: Onionman Triathlon 2nd age group, Issaquah Triathlon 1st age group, ITU World Championships 21st in age group, and Lake Padden Triathlon 1st age group.
peter Peter Donovan (Triathlon): Peter has an incredible ability of getting his tall (6’ 5”) and lean frame from start to finish very fast. He has finished over 50 triathlons and consistently places among the top 3 in his age category and has also claimed a few overall victories and dozens of top 10 overall finishes. Peter specializes in sprint distance races, but has also competed at the Olympic and Half-IRONMAN distances.
Dan Cantrell and Bob McBeath (Canoeing): Dan and Bob have been a fixture at the Ski-to-Sea race in Bellingham, WA for the last 30 years, specializing in the canoe leg by catching all of the young guys off guard as they scoot past them. Most recently, they teamed up for the 460 mile, 3-day, Yukon River Quest Canoe Race. They finished an impressive 2nd overall in the tandem male division with a time of 48 hours 11 minutes.
Eric Knapp (Triathlon): Eric is recognized as one of the strongest cyclists and swimmers in Skagit County. Erik has competed in Master’s swim meets, IRONMAN distance triathlons, and has now shifted his focus to competitive cycling races. He will be competing in the Skagit Omnium stage cycling race this year along with the Mount Baker Hill Climb.
rindal Kevin Rindal (Triathlon): Kevin has completed over 40 endurance events including, 2 IRONMAN finishes, 4 Half-IRONMAN distance events, and 4 marathons. He is a strong age grouper and overall finisher.
dana Dana Rindal (Triathlon): Dana’s athletic history includes competitive swimming and collegiate running (cross-country and track & field for Seattle Pacific University). Dana consistently finishes at the top of her age group in triathlons and in 2007 earned a Boston Marathon qualifying slot in her first marathon (Marine Corps Marathon).
Kendall Townsend (Triathlon): Kendall is one of the most decorated and experienced triathletes in Western Washington. He has set several course records at local races and recently competed at the ITU Triathlon World Championships, representing USA Triathlon’s 2008 National Team. Inside Triathlon also recently rated Kendall among the top 10 in the U.S. for his age group.
Clay Wing (Running): Clay is a legendary runner hailing from Sedro Woolley, WA. As a collegiate runner (1995) he earned All-American honors after finishing 7th overall in the 10K at the NAIA Track and Field National Championships. At the local level, Clay has set several course records and has claimed more than 50 first place overall male finishes, predominately at the 5 and10K distances. Most recently, Clay finished 6th overall on a very hilly Seafair Marathon Course, setting a PR of 2:40:11 and a claiming a 1st in age group finish.

Steve Wade (Triathlon): Steve competes in Duathlons, Triathlons, Mountain Bike Races, and Running Races. He has finished several hundred races over his many years of racing. Some of his highlights are: 14 IRONMAN Triathlon finishes (including the Kona IRONMAN World Championships), 2008 USA Triathlon National Team member and 16th overall for his age group at the 2008 ITU World championships.
