Pain between the Shoulders:
Mid-back pain is often derived from years of poor
posture. Many times there are patterns of tight and
weak muscles as well as restricted movement of the
spine that contributes to chronic cases of mid-back
pain. How do we help treat and correct this condition?
NWCC doctors treat mid-back pain by identifying the
different components contributing to the symptoms
that present, some aspects of our approach are: stretching
tight muscles, strengthening weak muscles, and adjusting
the spine to improve mobility. Additionally, we educate
our patients on proper sitting and sleeping ergonomics
and prescribe a home exercise program as a form of
prevention.
